Designing for the Way you Live-Not for the Magazines

Over the years, I've been honored with stepping into all kinds of homes. Some were loud and lived-in, filled with toys and memories. Others were quiet, simple, and waiting to reflect their owner's spirit. What did they all have in common? They belonged to real people-not to stylists or photographers preparing for a cover shoot.
That's always been the heart of what I do.
I've been decorating homes for decades, long before hashtags and design trends took center stage. My work has never been about perfection-it's about comfort, connection, and creating spaces that feel just right for the people who live in them.
My goal is to serve individuals and families who might not see themselves reflected in mainstream design shows or high-end magazines. I'm thinking of the everyday family with three kids and a dog who need a living room they can actually live in. I'm thinking of the working professional who wants a warm, welcoming home to host game nights and backyard cookouts. I'm thinking of women who crave a soft, calming retreat and men who want a bold space that's all their own.
I don't believe in wiping out your savings just to chase a trend. Instead, I focus on affordable design—working with what you already have and helping you build on it little by little. A fresh throw pillow here, a splash of paint there. Sometimes, the smallest change brings the biggest smile.
This blog is a new chapter for me-one where I get to share stories, tips, and lessons learned along the way. I hope to inspire, encourage, and remind people that beautiful homes aren't' built overnight. They grow with us. They're meant to be lived in, loved, and personalized over time.
Living. Resting. Sharing. That's not just my slogan—it's a way of seeing home. Your home should be a place where you live fully, rest deeply, and share openly with the people who matter most.
If you're looking for design that fits your life-not the other way around-you've found a kindred spirit. I'm glad you're here.
